Damn, i'm pretty bummed that the Braves didn't get Sidney Ponson from the Orioles. He would have made a great rotation even better. And what's worse, he goes to the GIANTS. bleh.

there is still gonna be a whole bunch of trades made after the deadline. i dont really see why they have a trade deadline. should have the trade deadline before the playoffs.

The Giants had to give a lot up for Ponson....Damien Moss and Kurt Ainsworth. I don't think it was worth it. Oh well, it's just the Giants.

i hate the mariners they have the 2nd most attendence and sure have alot of money but dont bring in anyone but rey sanchez (who is a 290 hitter in the AL) to the team. i sure would have been happy if they brought in aaron boone. o well there beating up the chi-sox now.

True, Damian Moss is struggling a bit though. I like the guy, it's too bad they gave him up for Russ Ortiz. They shoulda traded Jason Marquis instead, he sucks.

you know what you're talking about. Don't you think they'd be better off keeping Moss? Fuck, Marquis was supposed to be the #5 this year, but he sucks so bad that Horacio Ramirez came out of Godknowswhere and beat him out! Then, he spends 3 months in the minors, comes back, and allows 3 or 4 runs in 1/3 of an inning! cut him!

yeah, i'm a huge braves fan. i hate marquis. he hasn't pitched a solid inning since some time in 2001. i don't think marquis has ever taken any advice from any of the veteran arms on the team, or even leo mazzone. he's really stubborn. yeah, marquis really fucked up a couple weeks ago when he got called back up from the minors and pitched that 1/3 of an inning. i was so dissapointed that they traded moss last winter. he was very solid. ortiz has been great for us though. and hopefully Haracio will snap out of his little slump.

on a related note, marcus giles is the man.
