Say Anything (www.absolutepunk.net/sayanything)'s iTunes exclusive that was suppose to come out in January will not be released after all (http://forums.sayanythingmusic.com/%7Esayanyth/phpbb/viewtopic.php?p=168970#168970).

i think in my time as a say anything fan, they have given me more bad news than every other band i listen to combined. yet, i still love them.

A little disappointed because I'm curious as to what would've been on this EP, but I can't argue when we have a double disc from the band coming later this year.

I think they get enjoyment from screwing with us.

This is why despite all the stuff you guys say about this band blowing up, they never will.

if it's true that it was iTunes that rejected it, hopefully they will find another way to release it well in advance of the double disc in order to tide us over.

big fucking surprise.
also i'm suspicious about their itunes claim. itunes will sell pretty much anything. there is NO reason for them to reject an ep from an up and coming band. i call b.s. on this one.

i know what you mean. And why would iTunes reject their EP???

I'm skeptical of the claim as well, but I'm sure the ep will see the light of day eventually.

The people the post and read on here that know me I'm sure can back me up that I don't lie. The problem is this was never a real offical release and belive it or not Itunes doesnt do whatever you ask. I manage bands where they wont put their videos up all the time too. The songs will get out there though we just don't know which plan to use yet. Rather than talking about ideas that don't happen when we figure it out we'll just anounce it.

Yeah, I'm really looking forward to those, too.

Personally, I usually go to the store to buy CDs. And in my experience, iTunes really seems to lack some of the music I want to hear/buy - particularly smaller indie bands or random EPs. Bizarre, but I can believe this.
god bless say anything but they get my vote for most unreliable band
