What the fuck is with all the dark lyrics here ? It seems im one of the very few who's ever posted positive lyrics or ones that seem somewhat happy, but yet still touch on maybe sad emotions etc.
It seems all the songs posted here include knives being shoved into someones back or the sky bleeding.......

This is a really good song, it's kind of short though. Wait I just noticed, you are just bitching! Maybe people like writing lyrics about dark feelings. That could be the only thing in life they see. Even though they kinda shouldn't. I have respect for you though MaybeOneDay. Because it seems positive lyrics are always harder to write because of the limited words you can use.
 You are right though most if not all songs are dreay. It just seemed when you posted it looked insulting to those who write dark lyrics. Keep up your positive lyrics, but remember variety is always good too.

theres nothing wrong with writing dark lyrics or postive lyrics. i try to write both. i do have a new song but im not happy with it im sure everyone will think the same as me.
but why does it matter what people choose to wrtie about or if its "cliche?" feelings arent "cliche" so dont says people's songs are "cliche."
and too the people who seem to be out to hate me. im sorry you feel that way. i try my best on my lyrics. if thats not good enough for you then dont read.

i feel the same, maybeoneday. too many of the songs in this forum are based on the exact same idea and thus often sound alike. like thefallenscene said, we need variety. and no one in this forum is producing it. i have no problem, in the least, with negative lyrics. it's the label 'dark lyrics' i don't like because it usually refers to the type of songs in here. they're all the same. i write negative songs sometimes, but i write about personal feelings, in my own words. not about how 'the stars have taken my life' or how i'm 'never to see you again because of a sad twist of fate' or whatever else is too commonly used in these songs. come on guys, write stuff from the heart. it doesn't have to sound cool to be a good song. it has to be real to be a good song.

Hey guy's don't get me wrong, I didn't say I had anything against the darker style, or shall i say negative lyrics here. I'm actually a big fan of lot's of the writers here.
I was simply just wondering why all the songs seem to fall under the same genre and wondering why you guys always seem to write more darker lyrics. Sorry thats the only term I use, but im bad with words.
Anyways, yeah, variety is good. Deffinately, all of you keep up the writing. I like it. But have you's ever tried to write positive lyrics just for a change, maybe a song or two ? Or is darker lyrics the type of feelings your constantly...well...feeling? But anyways, again, love the songs posted here. Catch ya's later.
you're right, everyone does pretty much post darker lyrics, i'll see what i can do about uplifting lyrics, i might be able to dig something up

If you give me your hand
I can exchange it with this gift
done so well so nicely
so cool so swift
ill sail you to the clouds
we’ll stag at the waves crash in the sea
the only place you’ll ever need to go
is where you’ll already be
you’re eyes glisten like the ocean
wide and blue
I was staring at an angel, I guess I was staring at you

its harder to relate to happier lyrics. its just human nature i guess....its easier to be able to express yourself when ure upet...in my case anyways.
