Tell me what you think about this! Whats your opinion after you read mine, do you agree or not?

People tend to do whatever the media tells them to. Think about the world if there was never something such as music and movies and Tv. That stuff is our lifestyle. Media is a humans way of life. The way you dress and talk, and sometimes even the people you hang out with may be caused by music or some certian movie you just watched. Without media we would all be sitting down looking at a wall. Some adults and people want to go with a ban of media and other such things. Why? They think it causes violence, and yes it does. They think it causes people to do drugs and npt follow laws, yes it does. So why ban? They think by stopping such bands as Marylin Manson will take away violence, but if you stop and think, it will only make it worse and more people angry. If you take away the American Lifestyle what will the world come to? Nothing! No media will result in many years to come of blank history books with nothing in them, nothing to cover. So why band? They think its wrong, and so do we. We would have nothing to believe in and stand up for.

So what I am trying to ask is do you think media (any type) plays a role in americans lifes? Why or why not?

Well thankfully our country isn't communist...

Does media play a role in our lives... yea. Take music for example. Chances are you came to this site for the music. Thats bringing us together. A lot, not all, but a lot of my friends listen to what i listen to and i dont think thats a coincidence.

I don't think some adults want to "ban" it just sensor it a little more which, when you watch some of the stuff on tv, seems reasonable.

It does play a huge role in american culture and has molded pretty much everything we are today and it will continue to do so.
