What are your favorite bands from the 60's, 70's, and 80's? I'll only give a few of mine: AC/DC, Rush, The Doors, Fleetwood Mac, Van Halen, Guns n' Roses, etc.

I kinda like Lynard Skynard. Pink Floyd is pretty good too. My friend is in a classic rock band they are all 15 and they play better than most guys in their 20s.

well there's classics, then there's classic rock. classic rock is a genre featuring bands such a zeppelin, who do not fit in the same group as minor threat and motorhead.

my number one favorite of all time is aerosmith. i know they're still around, but they've gone downhill a lot. "just push play" was crap, unfortunately. so their old stuff is what i count. after that, guns n roses and the clash.

The Cars rule. tom petty, rolling stones, and neil young are pretty good as well
god dammit, guns n roses aren't classic rock, they're metal, if they started 20 years earlier they'd classify, but seeing as how they started in like 1985 or whatever, they're metal. they're just as good as most of the other bands up there, but they're still metal.
