Yes I know the last bunch of films in both franchises were pretty shitty but I grew up watching these horror movies and I can't wait to finally see the two of them go at it. I just hope they don't screw this one up (And putting the ugly ho from Destinys Child in the movie was a bad start.). Place your bets.

dude no one wins. at the end they both die. this is my take on the movie. although i think the movie is gonna be pretty cool,

the people really win the war. freddy nor jason win. freddy wins round one in dream world. jason wins round 2 in the real world.
people win round 3 and kill them both.

jason doesnt have healy powers. the only reason he regenerated in jason x was cuz of those ants. if he got his head cut off hes dead. plus jason cant kill freddy in the dreamworld its impossible (you would know that if you watched any of his movies)

Dude somebody better fucking win or I want my $9.25 back...this movie has been in the works for many years and fans of this genre have been waiting I hope they dont dissapoint. I think Jason will win though because I saw a picture from the set of the movie of a prosthetic Freddy head. So it looks like Freddy will get decapitated.
The people will prolly ultimately overcome them but I hope they at least have a clear winner here.

august 16th. and yes freddy can only come out if he is attacking the person or held with the person whenever they are awoken. then freddy become as vunerable as any other human. why would he wanna trick jason into taking him out of the dream world. also who wakes up jason?

I heard Freddy uses Jasons Mother as a decoy or something to trick Jason into bringing him to the real world...i could be wrong. I dunno how Jason wakes up and I dont know if this takes place before Jason X or what...I wish they never made Jason X what a waste. Although the part in that movie when he dunked that womans head into the dry ice and smashed her head into pieces was sick.

yes freddy vs. jason is suppose to take place before jason x, which tells you he doesnt die in freddy vs. jason. it tells you that he is captured. doesnt say anything about freddy. also this movie will cover the gap between jason goes to hell and jason x.

ya this movie has been in the planning for a long time. i remember atleast 7-8 years ago hearing about a freddy vs. jason type battle.

freddy in the dream world can use anything and everything to his advantage. which is why jason is stoppable. then in the real world jason can kill him by stalking him and freddy is just like another human in the real world.

yes he does use it cuz the way he puts him to sleep is by needles with some type of sleeping liquid in it. and i saw a clip of it in which he took the body of one of the kids friends and disguised himself as that kid and did that too jason.

sigh, about their powers

jason drown in a lake and then was awoken by something to avenge his mothers death. he has outragous strength and a machete. jason has killed over 120 people in his 10 movies. he was basically made to come back and kill teenagers who are having sex. and to kill all the people who were invovled in the killing of his mother. jason is also badly disfigured.

freddy killed little kids, and then the parent all trapped him and burnt him alive (which is why he looks like an aborted fetus) and somehow he is able to channel into the dreamworld and can not die in the dreamworld. freddy has a glove with long claw type things on them. while freddy is in the dreamworld he can mimic anything and everything and can also use everything against you.

i think the movie is going to be crap. both are great on their own (until jason x.......what were they thinking?) and there's no need to merge the two. i also foresee a lot of really bad one-liners. plus, that destiny's child girl? recipe for disaster.

halloween 2 was better than the orginal. the orginal freddy was the best. the orginal friday the 13th was the best. because after that movie jason was born (as a killer) and lead into all the movies we see now. even the orginal leprechaun was better than all the rest. same with child's play. most of the orginals are better than all the follow-ups. but halloween was a different one. the first one was kinda boring. and it was more about how he became the monster than him as the monster.

- Halloween 2 was good, but verged on the campy side
- The original Nightmare on Elm Street was indeed the best
- The original Friday the 13th was good, but not great. Frankly, I couldn't choose a best, but the later movies get progressively worse (notable exception: Jason Goes to Hell)
- The Leprechaun movies are trash, not horror
- The Child's Play movies are trash, not horror

The first Halloween was spectacular. Innovative filmmaking as well as an emphasis on plot and atmosphere instead of gore (due to intense budgetary restraints) make it my favourite horror movie of all time.

The creation of Michael Myers as a killer is only touched upon (really) in the first 15 minutes of the movie. Michael isn't a monster, and that's why he's scary. Later attempts to give him a supernatural edge were weak at best. I enjoyed the fact that H20 essentially ignored all movies after #2. Halloween 5 stands out as the best non-Carpenter directed sequel, and Resurrection stands out as the worst bastardization of a movie I have ever seen.

the first wasnt specatular. it was a very well done movie. and yes he isnt a monster but then again he is. he doesnt feel pain. he is "cursed with the thorn" which is why he is able to do the things he does. its the fire burning within him. also, the plot is a very good one. but you dont really understand any of it unless you watch halloween 6:curse of michael myers. this explains why he kills his sister and pretty much the rest of his family. halloween 4 was also a good movie. 3 sucked. 6 was good. h2o was good. Resurrection was stupid he did what he wanted why did he continue to kill? but there is going to be a halloween 9 which means there has to be a member of his family he hasnt killed and that michael finally gets killed. (note: i knew there was going to be a halloween 9 because he is in the sewer at the end you could see him)

also, about the friday the 13th movies. they didnt really get progessively worse they should have just stopped. they did drag it on way too long. but it did continue to sell. thats why they continued to make them. jason goes to hell was a good movie. but i liked jason x. his uber-machete was awesome.

yes the leperchaun movies were crap and so were the childs play. but i liked the leps rhymes they were funny.

Supposedly Jason Vs. Freddy is screening very well, audiences are really liking it. I also read that Jason X has nothing to do with Jason Vs. Freddy...it doesn't fit in the series and they aren't planning on filling in any gaps between the plots. So your prediction may be wrong.

ok, first of all: Halloween movies are all classic except for 3 and resurrection. Second, michael myers would beat both of them if he were involved.
