I wouldn't. Each album is a watered down version of the previous one.

they've only had 3 albums, so you can't say that and be accurate.

Now that I've listened to it, if you're a Haste the Day fan, yes. The new vocalist is much better, though the music is "softer" so to speak. Less breakdowns, more vocal work, yeah. i enjoyed it.

as for releases on tomorrow. Locust > Chariot > HTD. What else is droping tomorrow.

This reminds me I still haven't heard the new On Broken Wings.

I personally think the new HTD blows, and the old stuff wasn't that great either.

The best song they ever did was When Everything Falls.

I say buy it, the special edition though cause 2 of the bonus songs are solid. Plus the DVD is really good. Overall, I miss jimmy but this guy does a good job, its a little overproduced for me, and is a bit softer, but it still is really catchy and fun.

I will disagree. Blue 42 is the best song they ever wrote and recorded.

Because it had a thousand breakdowns?

Don't get me wrong, it's a good song, but personally american love tops it.

But people need to stop ripping on this new album for the wrong reasons. Songs having a little less to do with slow chugging riffs and more to do with musicianship doesn't mean they got worse. I thought this album was pretty solid and displayed a lot of what htd can do musically along with stephen keech as their new vocalist. He does a good job stepping in for Jimmy and brings a new dynamic to their sound, mostly with his singing ability and harmonizes well with the others. The quitar solos are more common and all sound pretty impressive. While many of the tracks aren't very distinctive of one another, I still think overall this cd was amazing, and im not exhaggerating one bit.

For those who think this album sucks, try to provide a little backup and reasoning cuz it's not helping the people who are thinking about getting the album.

the closest thing to closure

closest thing to closure would be my second favorite from burning bridges. but i like american love cuz of the fact that it was unpredictable, especially in the end of the song.

I like Blue 42 for the opening and the gang vocals at the end.

I love the whole Burning Bridges cd and I will buy this cd just for the DVD and Jimmy's last show even though I wasn't really into the new songs I heard.

Imo Blue 42 is their best song, with Substance being second and then American Love
