Autumn Will Be My Fall
As we lay here tonight
Nothing could feel more right
Then the touch of rose petals to the skin
Or the sounds of summer about to begin
As we lay here tonight
With my angels wings burning bright
The sweetest scents of honeydew
Ambrosia and wine to name a few
Every night passes by so fast
Reminds us that these times won’t last
We’ll fall asleep under our own eyes
Before the time we spend together dies
As we wake up in the morning
I look at the sun dawning
And when I see you open your eyes
I know that I’m in paradise
And that I don’t want fall to come
With all the leaves we will come undone
The sparkle of your voice will fade
But I’ll make sure this is where memories are made
For every day passes by so fast
Reminds us that these times won’t last
We’ll make every minute a memory
In my heart you’ll stay under lock and key
As we lay here tonight
Nothing could feel more right
Then the touch of rose petals to the skin
Or the sounds of summer about to begin
As we lay here tonight
With my angels wings burning bright
The sweetest scents of honeydew
Ambrosia and wine to name a few
Every night passes by so fast
Reminds us that these times won’t last
We’ll fall asleep under our own eyes
Before the time we spend together dies
As we wake up in the morning
I look at the sun dawning
And when I see you open your eyes
I know that I’m in paradise
And that I don’t want fall to come
With all the leaves we will come undone
The sparkle of your voice will fade
But I’ll make sure this is where memories are made
For every day passes by so fast
Reminds us that these times won’t last
We’ll make every minute a memory
In my heart you’ll stay under lock and key
