I'm visiting my parents for the week, and in my old bedroom I found two spindles of CD-Rs in the corner filled with discs titled things like "Punk Mix", "Driving Mix", and just "Mix", most of which date back to high school. I decided to listen through a few of them and post the track listings here. Have you ever found mixes from years ago? What's on them? Feel free to add your own.

Interesting. I went into this thinking the entire thing would be Dashboard-esque, but it appears I had a better grasp of what "emo" actually is than many high schoolers, even if this mix did get a bit erratic at times. High-five, younger self.

What a strange transition period. I know I saw Cauterize, Cold, Revis, and Evanescence play a show at some point in high school, and I'm sure this mix was made right after. Also, I must mention that I never put more than one song by any artist on a mix anymore. The fact that I did it twice here is so weird to me.
