Anberlin (http://www.anberlin.com)'s AOL's Sessions Under Cover can be seen here (http://music.aol.com/sessions-under-cover/anberlin); the band performs a cover of "Creep" by Radiohead, as well as two acoustic versions of tracks from their latest album, Cities.

eh i don't know man - I'm a fan of Saosin and a huge fan of that song, but Cove's version is flat as all hell. It goes to show all the studio magic that went into that new disc.

Well truth be told, it's still far too early to be claiming I have a best of, but I do enjoy cities a lot. I just know that I prefer other albums more. I really enjoy the dream state and deas vail discs - though I can't say for sure I prefer them to cities.

I got to see Anberlin perform their version of "Creep" for the second time ever live last Saturday. I found it to be an incredibly well done version, and Stephen's voice fits it well.

Cities will definitely be on my top 10 of 2007. It's such a powerful album.

I wish they'd do more songs acoustic live. I like Knate and Deon as much as the next person, but I'd really prefer to hear Stephen's voice more in concert.

That was the best acoustic set that has been done so far in this series. A+ for Anberlin. Cities was/is stupendous.

I just bought my tickets to see Anberlin a little bit ago :-)

I only watched them do Creeps so far basically cause that's one of my favorite songs of all time and with Stephen's voice I knew it was going to be amazing. And it was.

His voice is REALLY good. I love this band. And Cities is by far my favorite album of the year so far, it's gonna be hard to top. Maybe Mae, or Staylight Run.

There are a lot of great covers on that site. This is a really good one. I've been voting for The Used every time I go there, tho. I would love to hear them do another cover song along with some acoustic stuff.

Is Anberlin really that good? I sampled them and they sound kind of average to me. I'm not saying people shouldnt like them, I can see why people would, but what sets them apart from other bands?

umm, i wouldn't always suggest that. i saw a local band open their set last summer with a cover of "karma police", and it was so horrid that i walked out of the building and skipped the rest of their set. on top of that, it made it hard to listen to the original for quite a while afterwards.
