haha yeah for real. i remember i didnt have a discman so i recorded 'little things' from cd to tape so i could rock it on my walkman.8-)

They blatantly didn't listen to them then, probably got into it a couple of years ago.
It's really weird how everyone keeps saying that Good Charlotte were only good on their first album. What the fuck?!? Everyone hated it at the time, it was just as unfashionable to like them then, if not more.

Their new song is pretty good. Its kinda simple and has a nice melody.

Well I'm not everyone. I loved that album, and I liked 'The Young and the Hopeless' a tiny bit as well. After that I didn't like much at all. I don't know where you're getting your opinion that everyone hated them then, but I didn't. They were actually one of the first bands in this 'scene' that I started listening to. Of course, I just found better bands after that.

I liked the first album.. at the time I was young.. it was good in my eyes haha. Wasn't too impressed with much else though..

Wonder if they've been to see their bestest buddy in the world yet?

Has anyone seen the GC banner ad on Ap.net? The one that plays without you even having to press anything and won't turn off even if you press stop? It's usually at the top of the page.

i just bought the new album, but i am afraid to listen to it...i guess i am hoping i will be surprised and i will love it, or at least that's why i bought it, but i am worried that it will suck because i used to LOVE this band when i was like 13, and if the new record sucks it will be a nail in the coffin

And as it's an okay CD (just not nearly as good as their first two), there's nothing wrong with saying good things about it.
