The first in line of a series of related pieces, I have about six of them, all of them in the works, save for this one. This is sort of just an intro, so it's pretty short haha. Enjoy...

Beneath the Tent (Intro)

Well the merchants all set up beneath the tent,
And the carnival music blew in through the doors.
The ringleader staggered in with a bottle of Bourbon and a package of Kents,
Followed close behind by the sailors and the whores.
And the candles had all burned down to their wicks,
And the lamps by the door were flickering off and on.
While the highway stretched out in the distance,
The chorus of hobo clowns all broke out in song.

Thanks, Josiah haha. I like it too. ... Interesting? haha thanks. I wasn't sure about that line being in there, as I thought it might put some people off, but I guess not then, haha.

Thanks! I'll post the continuation pieces later, thoughout the next few days. Each one is a sort of narrative of each character, and so forth. Should be fun haha.
