What wrog with benji? benji is like the teeni spokesman for punk, he's all that is truly unholy in punk, Rancid is the complete oppisite of that and is true punk rock, Its sort of like if in the metal world, if Black Label Society put Fred Durst in one of thier videos it would just be wrong

Fuck, what isnt wrong with "benji"... is that his damn name? Hes a damn hypocrite, and he doesnt write punk music. Bands like them are gonna bring punk into a pretty shitty place. I really believe its all about the music but jeezus christ Benji is the biggest joke in the music industry. Ever read his lyrics? complete shit. This guy tries to be so much more than he is. Read his thanks on the new cd. All he does is name drop very big punk icons to make him look even more punk. Him and his band have left such a shitty influence on the world. I used to be criticized for what I wore...now all the kids that made fun of me look even more punk than me. All I can wait for is that in a few years this will all be gone and past like every other fad and trend. The day good charlottes cd's make it into the 50 cent bin at used cd stores because they overproduced their cd and no one gives a shit about them because they were just a fad. They are now what Nsync and Backstreet boys were a few years back. Also the song for this video sucks as well. And on one final note. Time Armstrong wrote some stuff for the new Pink album.

I couldnt help but laugh when i saw this video. It was so horribly TRL and cheesy (whether or not its actually been on trl). I never really listened to Rancid so I was shocked to find out from a guy at work that they actually are a pretty good band. I don't think Ill be listening to them anytime soon though. blaahh I hate the name Benji, he makes me want to poke my eyes out so I dont have to look at him.

i completely agree! benji looks all hardcore but good charlotte is the poppiest music i have heard since brittney spears. but i still have hope that this retarded "punk" music that is talked about in teen people (ex: good charlotte, simple plan, etc.) will very soon die out and the posers will die out with it.

Benji is a prick but he can be a nice guy it's just that the money and the whole fame thing got to his head. GC didn't really have to work hard to get their music sold. They wrote some crappy simple shit that everyone wanted to hear and they got famous. Simple plan's songs are like that to.
