ive had it for about two weeks... and after listening to it for that long, i can honestly say its one of the best, most complete, albums i have ever heard.

its phenomenal. album of the year so far (and it pains me to put Modest Mouse at no.2)

I don't like it. I don't think it's close to up to par with the rest of his stuff. Four Winds is a fucking excellent song though. I enjoyed the EP, just not this.

It is a pretty big stretch, imo, to say that this album is on par with Lifted or Fevers. Maybe that is because I am just a big Bright Eyes fanboy, though.

i am in love with "middleman" "make a plan to love me" and "soul singer in a session band"

i have had it now for 2 weeks and i was expecting something better, i mean its not bad, but he has made better records before, to me it feels at times as if its not bright eyes but a classical composer singing over his classical tunes...after hearing the EP i thought it would be excellent, however i was somewhat dissapointed with it, its not the worst thing to listen too though, id give it a 7/10

as for the album, I love it, and with a couple more spins it may be my favorite bright eyes album.
