On the day of march 20th the following events took place:

1739 - Nadir Shah occupies Delhi in India and sacks the city, stealing the jewels of the Peacock Throne.
1815 - Napoleon enters Paris after escaping from Elba with a regular army of 140,000.
1974 - A failed kidnap attempt is made on Her Royal Highness Princess Anne and her husband Captain Mark Phillips.
1986 - Jacques Chirac becomes Prime Minister of France.
2006 - Cyclone Larry makes landfall in eastern Australia, destroying most of the country's banana crop.
2007 - Justin King signs papers releasing himself and his band from the deep, dark dungeon of Sony Music/Epic records, resulting in unbridled celebration in the streets and an out pouring of music which was previously caged like a beautiful, rare bird or elephant..


Yes, after months and months and months of waiting, we are finally free. The first thing we've done is released a 5 song EP entitled 'Fall/Rise'. These are songs we recorded in hiding while waiting for the Sony fiasco to blow over and we're really happy with how they came out.

As I write this, a fantastic mixing engineer, Mark Needham (Killers, Pete Yorn, We Are Scientists), is putting the finishing touches on our long awaited, full length record, which, after over a year, will finally be coming out this Summer. Expect an update on the precise release date... and I really mean it this time... it's done..

Following our last tour, which was our best to date, we're setting out on another national run in April/May, check the dates on our page to see if we'll be near you, if we're not you can send us angry mail or pictures of GW Bush.

The new and MUCH improved JK site will be posted by this weekend, much thanks to Dmitri Von Klein. We have two new music videos in store for you guys, we'll eventually be including those in the new site, our buddy Dayn is frantically editing whilst gulping down piping hot oceans of coffee..

We are so, so, so, elated to finally have control of our lives and careers again.. You can all expect a lot of great new things from us now that we're free to be our own band again, put out our own records and make music for you.
