A live video of Yellowcard (http://www.absolutepunk.net/yellowcard) performing a new song, tentatively entitled "Shadows of Regret," from their recent show at the Troubadour in West Hollywood, CA can be seen in the replies.

not too shabby, although I was hoping for some better violin work

It seems really good...his voice sounds so much better than it does on L&S.

this song bores me a little but, judging from their myspace journal update video clip things, the new stuff has potential.

ryan said it was supposed to be a b-side but they will probably put in on the album, because the crowd liked it so much. He said it starts off acoustic, but then grows into a full band epic-type song.

I'm definitely looking forward to Paper Walls. I heard a couple other songs as well, this cd has so much potential.

Here's another new song as well, Light Up The Sky..

i want to hear the album version of light up the sky, because right now i'm just not liking the live version....And about their crowd, it was at the troubadour and there was only about 400-500 people at that show.

Both of the songs sound a load more genuine than all of Lights and Sounds, we'll put it that way. I thought L and S was a decent album, but by no means what Yellowcard was capable of. These two songs alone prove that they still have songs to be written and sung to crowds. Can't wait for their new album.

That sounds good! Another song clip from one of their studio videos sounded really good too. I tried to get tickets to that concert but it was sold out in a few hours :( I'm happy they'll be at the Warped tour, I wonder if their album will be out by then.

the acoustic song sounds awesome.

as others have said i also wanna hear the Light Up the Sky recorded, it has potential and it definately used the violin more than alot of songs on L&S, which is good.

ryan's voice does sound a lot better, especially on the acoustic song, and its live so it'll only sound better on the album. really can't wait.

on youtube if you search yellowcard, there are alot of clips of two new songs, the fighting and light up the sky. "The Fighting" sounds really catchy and is a pretty good song.

this was great. it's a lights and sounds type of ballad to me, but better. (some L&S songs I liked, some I didn't)
