Just finished the movie. I was surprised at how well they can write and shoot action/suspense scenes. definitely not the average comedy.

Gah...it looks like all the versions online are garbage versions. I don't see the joy in watching a movie that not only was taped on a miniDV camera, but these are all CAMs...not even direct sound. Nothing like hearing an audience so I KNOW when to laugh.
I'll wait for theatrical release and give Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright my hard earned money.
EDIT: Props where deserved though...that site is amazing. Looks like they have a bunch of movies I've wanted to see for awhile (ie Lilja 4 Ever) in DVDrip. Thanks!

For any Americans that are really into work by these guys, download a series called Spaced, it's by ALL the same guys, actors and directors. A lot of the original jokes are from there too, pop culture references abound, including loads on Star Wars and Evil Dead.

Would have to second this, if you like the films these guys have done you should definitely check out Spaced.

Tonight at 7:30! I can't imagine I'll like it more than Shaun of the Dead because a)I love SotD and b) I love Zombie movies. But this looks amazing and I'm glad the Spaced guys can be consistently hilarious project to project. Fuck, Simon Pegg was even funny in MI:3.

I hate my town due to the fact we are not getting this film.
If it's even close to as good as Shaun of the Dead I will love it.
I'm really looking forward to seeing this film. Hopefully I'll get to catch it while it is in the theatres.

Saw this last night, it was fucking hilarious.
The last 30 minutes were the most intensely funny experience i've had at the movies.

it is way better than shaun of the dead, in my oppinion atleast. the shootout is is one of my favorite parts of the movie i liked how the old lady on the bike came charging at Angle shooting her guns and the fat dude swings open his car door causing the old lady to fip over.

I haven't laughed that much during a movie in a while. The way they mocked basically every single action and slasher movie cliche in there was impressive. I can't wait to either see this again in theaters or get it when it comes out on DVD because it's almost too much to appreciate in just one viewing.

I didn't think the movie was that funny in a laugh-out-loud way, but it's a fantastic movie...it seemed a lot more serious than SOTD. I need to watch it again...

You know, I caught it again today at a matinee...and it did not stand up to a repeat viewing well. I found myself laughing not nearly as much and even a little bit bored. As Shaun is incredibly rewatchable, I'm going to have to give Shaun a knockout in the second round in its matchup against Hot Fuzz.

i went and saw it months ago here in aus. and me and my friend were drinking in the cinemas
it made it 5 times funnier
even though its a funny movie to begin with
we could not stop laughing when he goes to find his ex/gf janene(sp?) and there all in those white hazmat suits
and he walks up to one and starts talking to him thinking its her
and the guys like "im not janene!..." BAHAHAHAHA!
i thnk thats soooo funny
