I wanted to see this in the theater but never made it. I heard most were mediocre, I'd still like to see them though.

Only the Hamiltons was good.
i've actually heard that a lot. still gonna give them all a try though.
my expectations are low. they started off low, but starting off with dark ride knocked them down even more.

Are any of them actually scary? I haven't seen a real good horror movie in such a long time.

I saw The Abandoned during Horrorfest on a whim, and it fucking sucked. I have no idea why they released it to the general public. It was trite garbage. The Hamiltons looked good, though. I'll prolly check it out.

I've tried to look for a few on torrent sites. I've only found The Hamilton's. Haven't watched it yet though.

just watched wicked little things. it wasn't horrible. but, after watching dark ride, i don't think anything could come off as bad.
wicked little things is decent though. best part about it is that the chick who's been cast as laurie stroed in zombie's halloween is one of the stars. so it was pretty cool to see her in something. i'm a fan of her's now.

the hamiltons wasn't bad, but the ending pissed me off.

penny dreadful wasn't horrible. it started off pretty crappy, but ended up being fairly entertaining.
the chick that played penny was real fucking good.
i'm halfway through and it's not nearly as bad an experience as i was expecting it to be. minus dark ride of course.

the gravedancers is added to the pretty fucking terrible pile. better than dark ride, but still not even remotely close to being good.

I agree with you on Penny Dreadful and Dark Ride. I finally picked up some of the videos. I think later tonight I'll check out The Hamiltons.
Some parts in Dark Ride reminded me of House of 1000 Corpses.
And Penny Dreadful was good, but it seemed to drag on forever.

i finally watched unrest. it was pretty fucking horrible too.
i could see how it would seem penny dreadful dragged on. you're gonna have that in any movie where a large part takes place in a tiny setting. i still liked it though. i've watched it a few more times since then and have grown to like it even more. plus i've grown a pretty big crush on rachel miner.

The suspense was killing me in Penny Dreadful, haha.
Rachel Miner is pretty nice looking. She was really good in it.
I haven't seen it this 8 films horror fest Which movie you guys would recommend me to watch, I am not in the mood for a poor horror movie I've read about the Hamilton's so I will rent the DVD to watch that movie then.
