I've recently been checking out a lot of dropkick murphys stuff and I was wondering...what exactly is "OI"? it's also a genre of punk rock from what my friend told me....any answers are well appreciated.

OI stands for Omega Iota, a fake fraternity my friends and I have

And I may or may not have something related to this tattooed on my body.
