well..i wouldnt compare afi or my chemical romance to steak. I personally think they both arent anything special but at the same time, I think too many people rag on this band. I know their music isnt original and all the makeup and stuff is ridiculous but they are obviously selling records so they are doing something correctly.

i think that AFI has become the new Fall out Boy. im expecting about 100-150 Decemberundergrounds this year. the whole dark synth pop punk goth rock hot topic mix is catching on quickly. this video just helps with that prediction.

Wil's vocals have improved and this song is twice catchier than anything of their previous material. Still, the lyrical direction is beyond trite.

I will admit that the first time I heard "Our Gangs's Dark Oath" I really liked it and I still do. I couldn't really stand to listen to "Nightmare Anatomy" though, it sounded like they just listened to a lot of AFI, My Chemical Romance, and Misfits and then went into the studio and slapped together an album in a week that totally missed its mark. This new song actually is a little bit of an improvement from their last album (not including the EP). I like the vocals more and they don't try as hard to have a morbid sound (Although it is still there along with a less than equal to AFI sound). I'm not really the kind of guy that judges a band on image or thinks image should affect they way you enjoy or dislike a band, but I really do think that the way Aiden presents themselves hurts their music.

i agree his vocals are a billion times less annoying than nightmare but they still are aiden and therefore still are one of the worst signed bands out on the market
