Cool, just what we needed: more kids pretending they can play an instrument they really cant. Really cool idea, but from the boom I've seen up people thinking they can play real guitars after guitar hero was pretty bad

it'll be interesting to see how they incorporate a drum set without it being ridiculously lame. if it's cheap plastic like the guitar, it won't last very long.

man living rooms are not safe anymore, so many parent's knick knacks, arts and crafts, pictures hanging on the wall, lamps and everything else decorative is going to get dominated by the game haha. This game should come with a free can of plaster to cover all the holes kids will be putting into walls.

so instead of dropping 40 bucks on a 2nd guitar controller for multiplayer, you need 4 different ones (guitar, bass, drumsticks, and mic) for the full band experience? its gonna get expensive

So there will be a mic. I was wondering how this was gonna be. My initial reaction was that it was gonna be similar to Amplitude (and its successor, forget the name).

Id like this game just because if you always had 4 people or even 3 it would be fun. I just dont have any of the consoles that it is gonna be on yet. I have a few months though.

So what would everyone like to see on this game?

Personally I'd like to see a little TBS...but I doubt it

Also...how does everyone think the song selection will be done? (Guitar Hero used a lot of songs with crazy solos and everything) How do you get all four to be challenging?

what? there actually is gonna be a guitar villain, if you look on the new guitar hero for 360, there's an ethernet cord, and thats is supposed to plug into an effects pedal, where when the new game launches (late fall) you can play with some pedals to make it harder

so it wasnt a shitty joke, it was the truth

never heard of it, but then again i dont follow video games, my apologies, thought it was a lame joke, and if its is real, this shits getting crazy with full bands and effects pedals, hopefully its executed well
