saosin i can't really get into, but i love chiodos. 'all nereids beware' is definitely my favorite song. and 'baby you wouldn't last a minute on the creek' is way too long of a song title, but the acoustic version is amazing in my opinion.

I prefer older Saosin over newer Saosin, not because I'm an Anthony Green fanboy who thinks Cove sucks at singing (Cove does a very fine job in his position), but because the debut album was so damn boring and mediocre. I spotted at least two songs that had an almost identical opening riffs but played in different keys, and the sound itself has gotten overplayed thanks to bands trying to emulate their sound. If Saosin would have tried to do the record sooner than last year, maybe it wouldn't be such a dissapointing album.

As for Chiodos, they are ok. I don't hate them or anything, but their album got old after the two weeks I owned it.

Chiodos is definitely better than Saosin.
BUT i cant really stand alot of Chiodos.


I don't think it's possible for me to listen to more than 2 Chiodos tracks at a time.

Saosin is a big cup of OK and chiodos sucks but really, if u think about it, both are overrated

Chiodos is pretty catchy, and with riffs like that, you have to love em.

Saosin = a couple smash hits, followed by 10 songs of boring album filler.

i've only heard one song by chiodos, which was amazing. I'd get their cd but im a tiny bit broke, so I gotta wait.
saosin is one of those bands I always hear about but have never actually listened to.
