Most undeserving national champion two years in a row. Pretty shitty end to a lackluster year for college basketball.

I was the exact opposite. I lost like 6 games day 1. And finished with 6 of the elite 8, 3 of the final 4, and I had Florida picked to win it all.

How are they the most undeserving? They gave up a chance to go to the NBA and unselfishly came back for another year. They define what a team should be.

thank you. this year overall was shitty for basketball. the tournament blew. and florida is overrated. They may have won but the tournament turned out wierd. There were teams that could have beaten them.

The overrated comment holds no water whatsoever when essentially the same team wins two consecutive national championships.

Actually they call 8 teams remaining the Elite 8, not the Final Four. Taylor had all the final four correct.

The starting five were the exact same as the team from last year so yea. If someone says overrated then they are talking out of their ass flat out...they are not overrated. People may hate them but that doesnt make them overrated just because they are mad their team hasnt won two years in a row.

Say it ain't so. I can see Wright and Lawson leaving, but Hansbrough recently said in an interview that he's staying all 4 years. Now, whether or not that's completely reliable is the real question. I would be OK with Wright leaving, only because we could fill his position with Thompson and Stepheson...but if Lawson left, that would kill me.
Who do you think is leaving?

The whole Florida team are cocksuckers. Greg Oden had the best game out of anybody and Mike Conley Jr. had the 2nd best game out of anybody. Never once did they hot dog. All Oden did was blast his load in Joakim Noah's face for 25 pts. and 12 rebs. He must have dunked on Noah like 4 times. Never once did they scream in a Florida player's face or anything. That ***-ass dance that Al Horford did, he might as well be a male gigolo. And did anyone catch Joakim Noah celebrating on national TV like a fucking retard? What an idiot..... So I agree 100% that although Florida is a very talented team, kids like Greg Oden, Mike Conley Jr., and a coach like Thad Matta deserved this so much more because they are just as talented, but don't suck nearly as much dick as Florida.

overrated college basketball player is wrong, he is a great college basketball player (minus all his dumb fuckin turnovers) but to leave early and go to the nba is just stupid, he could make a lot more money if he would have stayed in school two more years. congrats josh mcroberts you will turn out like shavlick randolph

ummm watch the nba. its ten times worse. these kids are the future...and in case you didnt know teams that lose usual dont celebrate. fyi. so i dont expect the "more deserving" ohio state team to have done that. even though oden "blew his load on noah's face"....ahem. anyway, these comments are ridiculous. i dont like fl, but when a team wins the past two years, you dont call them undeserving. that's called ignorance and it's just being argumentative. i expect this blatant stirring-up to come from tate, but the rest of you dont have a rep for it. as for tate (and all of you), im ashamed.

i dont think anyone from florida will have a solid/long career like oden will have in the nba. his time will come and in the end, being successful in the nba for 10 plus years is a way bigger accomplishment than winning the tournament 2 years in a row (even tho it hasnt ever been done)

If these kids are the future, it's not very bright for Joakim and Horford. Having an 18-year old dominate both of them thoroughly doesn't bode well for the rest of their careers. They were supposed to be lottery picks? Give me a break. Oden wouldn't even make the top 10 big men in the NBA, and that's who Noah and Horford will be guarding. All I'm saying is, Mike Conley Jr. was clearly the best point guard on the floor, and Greg was clearly the best big man among a group of supposed lottery picks. Had OSU not gone like 3-20 from deep, they would have won, because they clearly have more talent and brighter futures. I think I am gonna call Joakim Noah as being the NBA's Ryan Leaf... A.K.A. biggest flop ever..

Just because once fan dislikes him doesnt mean everyone does. You shouldn't make generalizations like that
I think it's safe for me to make those generalizations when EVERY Duke fan I know hates McRoberts. And I do have to put up with my fair share of Duke fans. Judging by my experience with them, the majority of Dukies hate McRoberts more than they tolerate him. Therefore, I win, and you lose.

Obviously you didn't see the part where I said "the majority of Duke fans....".
Clearly I am getting owned in this 'argument' because I said "all duke fans do" instead of "the majority of duke fans do". Anyway the point I am trying to make is just because the Duke fans you know hate him doesn't necessarily mean the majority of Duke fans do. I mean the majority could, I don't know, but neither do you. This is a bad example but if the majority of people in one county in Maryland are republican that doesn't mean the the majority of people the state are republican.
I don't think Duke fans really actually hate him, they hate the expectations that were set for him. Before the season started a lot of people thought he was going to be this great low post scorer like Hansbrough and he clearly didn't live up to those expectations. He was by no means a bad player he just wasn't the type of player that could or wanted to take over games in the end

I'll agree with you on that. I've just heard plenty of nasty words said about him from every Duke fan I know, and I've read things on message boards and websites about how many Duke fans actually despise him and wanted him to either turn into the player he was SUPPOSED to be, or get the hell out.
Very valid point, I apologize for coming off as a dick....college basketball is one of the topics that actually gets me all riled up, I can talk about it for hours and come off as arrogant at times. Cheers.

Don't worry about it because you are probably right in that the majority do dislike him. I was just trying to make a point that you can't judge everybody on what a small group of people thinks.
