for those of you who have been watching, the "hard rock live" series on MTV2 has been show-casing hip-hop performers for the past few weeks. the performers (including the roots and sean paul), while talented, have left the hard rock fans in the dark (unless, unlike me, you realize the show is named for a resteraunt franchise not the type of music)


but tonight a real rock band will taking the stage: the used! the show airs at 7 pm, central time. if youre not central... do the math yourself you lazy bitch. they will be playing a live set, for the duration of the 30 minute show.

i also enjoy the roots. but they dont exactly make me think "hard rock".

Umm....but thats the point. it isnt hard rock the genre. it's hard rock cafe. end of story.

I've been a long time Used fan...Either you like them or you dont...The lyrics are sweet....Listen to "On My Own" ...Very Emo, and though I'm not into that...Its sweet.. "Buried Myself Alive" kinda puts me in mind of Brand New's "The Quiet Things No One Ever Knows" Then there is "Blue and Yellow" Another good one...I'll be seeing them at Warped this month...Whoop!
