I want to man up (horrible pun) and finally buy a pair, the only problem is I have no idea what size to wear. I've been looking over the internet for some sort of conversion chart but found none. I'm about a 34"W and 33"L, so does anybody know what size to get? Also, are they actually comfortable?

You would probably want a size lower cause women have fat asses.

Just be a man and try them on in a store.

Then again Americans might run you out of town for being one of those homosexual types, lolol.

a person from england doesnt really have good taste in fashion anyway...

Guys tight jeans are usually ridiculously priced. Go with girl's jeans, and just buy up a size from what you think you can fit into. You'll want the extra room, and if you think they're too big, you can always put them through the dryer.

Personally though, I find girl's jeans to be more comfortable than guys jeans, but I wear both. Your call.

Jack123

Try slim designer jeans, they will be 100x more comfortable/worth it then anything else you will buy. But if that is not your thing, buy slim Levis and dont look like a tool

hm. girls pants on guys.. was interesting for the first few weeks guys did it. and now it's just lame, because half of the guys who do it are just doing it to be 'cool.' even though it's not cool. if i see a boy wearing girls pants that are way too small for him, and his butt doesn't even fit into them, that is not attractive to me. it may be to some girls, but no. if you want tight pants, buy a pair of guy's jeans that are tighter. if you just want them to be cool, forget it.

Clothes should fit the body, you shouldn't wear skin tight clothing, or baggy clothing... People look best when they dress with clothes that fit them. People in this sentance =men... Girls can keep wearing skin tight clothing..

Eh, isn't that sort of sexist?

Like women have to look good but who cares about how a dude presents him self.

I know that's the stereotype, but still... And it's fuckin ridiculous that any guy that decides to attempt to have a fashion sense or spends time on appearance automatically is labeled as gay. But hey, we live in an ignorant society. Whatcha gonna do?

No that isn't sexist, guys like seeing girls in tight clothing, it's a known fact - if they want to dress that way, why not?

I never said guys caring about their appearance made them gay, or labeled them as such, I just said I don't see why guys wear the super tight pants and don't look good doing it. When you keep trying on pants until you get the pair that you feel is going to rip soon, you're wearing your clothes too tight IMO.

Yo man, even if you found an attractive girl who likes you in them you still need to present yourself well to others (employers, family, teachers, peers, etc.). If you want slim jeans, try Earnest Sewn or Nudie jeans. You can find pairs for around $140 on sale, which in my opinion is a much better deal then 2 sets of Hollister girl pants. These run slim, are slightly tampered at the leg and look great/clean. You will feel much better in them, your ass will fit in them and you will receive 10x the compliments. Just try not to pair them with a band t-shirt.

I dont believe a man living over a hundred years ago really understood the concept of jeans let alone men wearing girls jeans or the relevance of dress sense in a far less culturally and socially divided country.

Alright man. It is simply hard for me to take someone seriously who is wearing girl jeans/scene look. And probably harder for someone like my father or a much older man or women to take them seriously. I've always been a big supporter of clothes/fashion & dressing professionally. Fashion is in some cases is of much as an art as photography or music BUT it is simply important in life to present yourself well. Wearing girl jeans/scene look is not expressing oneself or artistic, it just looks awful, puts you in a very negative demographic and in most cases, is a phase you will regret later on your life.

And why can't men look pretty? The "job of a man" as you describe it is dead or at least should be! Its the 21th century now... and many men maybe doesnt want to look rugged and bad ass? most men wants to look good i bet, And just because its "girl jeans" its unmanly? Not really "Unmanly ness" is peoples attitude, like me for example, i act quite feminine=making me "unmanly"... But you can still be "manly" and wear "girly" clothes! Being "feminine/unmanly" is attitude! and just because you want to wear better looking "girl jeans", is just wanting to look better, not being feminine! (not to mention skirt is on its way to enter manly wardrobes! i saw a construction worker with one, because you can apparently fit more tools on a skirt than on pants! ) But on the other hand what is female and what is masculine comes from old stupid traditions and eventually these traditions will die and things like "masculine" and "feminine" will be gooooooooooone!!!

But you too are following a trend. The trend of guys mostly wearing jeans and a t-shirt.

And I didn't say I wasn't, I just realized that. I don't post around here why I feel i'm so much different than everyone else because of how I dress. I know everyone follows trends, I was telling him that he would realize that one day.

*cough*cough* Stone Age....

And i wear them to look good, because having better self image>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>comfortable clothes

Dude... a man can still look good without womens clothes. They have these things that are called mens clothes. They're in stores everywhere all around the world. You should look for some.

Just get tight guy's pants. Levi's makes a skinny fit, and most other brands do as well.

Girls don't want to share jeans with their boyfriend, and if you find a girl that does, she's probably ugly anyways

Okay but who says he doesnt think its a trend? Surely everyone realises that?

Okay, we can wait for him to point out that he knows he is just following trends before we make that statement. His post to me seems like he thinks he is original in his way of thinking, and in his style.

Dude, you're fifteen.. when your balls drop and you start getting hair in certain places, you'll understand that a man isn't cool because he acts feminine. He is following a trend put in place by his idols.

*cough**cough*cough*
Well I do consider it "cool" to break the evil materialistic gender stereotypes! Not that i consider myself cool since i have baaad self image but still.... Being yourself is "cool" if anything and "Oh look he is acting feminine OMG HE IS MY IDOL MUST COPY!!!" Not really.... i am following myself and what i want! Don't know about others but that is my way!

Oh and its up to every person what they think looks good and maybe some thinks "female clothes" looks good and some thinks"male" clothes looks good and wear what you think look good and and be happy about your self!!!

Point proven. He doesn't yet understand he is following trends. He thinks that if he was born in the 1920's he'd still be wearing girl pants and acting feminine, because that's who he is.

Too_far_away..
04/06/07, 01:56 PM
If i was born in the 1920's i would probably get killed for it so i agree with you on that, but now that the society is open people are free to act what they want! and its not a trend its society getting "open"

Too_far_away..
04/06/07, 02:00 PM
Its basically calling society's opening a "trend" witch is wrong since it (hopefully) wont go "closed" again! (If it was any problems understanding what ich wrote)

to be fair, if you really wanted girl pants, get levi's slim straights. they're not girl pants, but they sure get confused as such when i'm walking to class.

Too_far_away..

I meant that people are free to wear what they want without people "mocking" them

Too_far_away..

People said i was following a trend vile i explained the "trend" was society getting open. Not being completely open, even though you can walk round relatively safe in a dress today^^

ehh...i think it's better to just stick with regular guy jeans, but you're probably a size 8..9...10 try those sizes

not true at all. you'd be a much smaller size than an 8, 9, or 10.
the best thing is to just try them on though.

I used to wear exclusively girls jeans, which can be VERY uncomfortable on the penis despite what many say. I bought a pair of skinny fitting (though still very baggy for me) levis though, and I've been wearing those a lot lately for comfort reasons. I'll probably get a few more pairs.

I eat exclusively junk food. If I was anyone else I'd probably way 300 pounds. I am a bit worried about it catching up to me, though I think I'd be very scared of the change as I saw it happening, and I'd start exercising or something.

And I don't understand the whole "ball room" thing. Maybe my balls don't hang low enough, but when I'm wearing girl pants it's my penis that's uncomfortable just from the pressure, not my balls.

I want to man up (horrible pun) and finally buy a pair, the only problem is I have no idea what size to wear. I've been looking over the internet for some sort of conversion chart but found none. I'm about a 34"W and 33"L, so does anybody know what size to get? Also, are they actually comfortable?

So I have pictures ... but I am a shitty photographer ><

They are from Topshop, from the petits section (so that's for us little people 5'3 and under) I am 5'1 and they fit me really well length wise. They are W25 L29. I got em for 40 pounds, which is around $88 Canadian or $80 US.

You can go here to see a better picture
