Audio Recording Club – In the End, We Are All Light
Label: Hyla Park
Release Date: February 20, 2007
Who:
Now defunct PA rockers who played the kind of fast, upbeat rock that could’ve made them huge in the first half of this decade. The good news is that the members have all moved onto more progressive projects, including the soon-to-be-everywhere, Street Smart Cyclist.
How is it?:
If you’re like me and still break out those old Lanemeyer albums on a consistent basis, you’ll love In The End, We Are All Light. Chock full of coming-of-age anthems, it’s akin to the musical equivalent of Stand By Me…minus the fat Jerry O’Connell. Additionally, anything my good friend Eric Eisenberg works on is GOLD.
Oh Corey Feldman, you slay me!: “Scenes From Your Favorite Mystery Novel”
Peer pressure: Lanemeyer, A Day At The Fair, Audio Karate
