So recently I have been dealing with a lot of annoying things. First off, I went to outpatient for four weeks back in January/February and am still getting drug tested. I'm in a dilemma because I really want to smoke again, and technically have relapsed a couple of times. I just think it's so stupid that drug tests show marijuana use and if tested once every two weeks ignore most other drugs used a week before. anyways, if i've been pretty clean for 2.5 months and i happen to smoke a decent sized bowl, will it stay in my system as long as it did when I was a habitual user? It's completely out of my system, but I still don't know how long it would stay in my system. The drug test used is a quick test, but if suspicion arises it could become a lab test. I know there are a lot of threads on this topic, but I have a specific question. So, if anyone has gone through this before and would like to share, please do.

I read somewhere that it stays in your system for like thirty days. I am a non user all the same, but good luck with staying as clean as you can. I have faith in you. (Even if you don't) Will smoking something make you want to do other things?

probably not if i can just smoke. i relapsed with alcohol a coupel of times and oxy last week, but i think if i could just blaze everything would be alright.

i do believe that by smoking again it will show up in your system, no matter how much you smoke. it depends on what kind of drug test you get (urine vs blood vs hair, ect.) for how far back it will show. (woah. weird sentence.)
also, the bigger the bowl, the higher the concentration in your system, and the more likely it will be to show up in your system.

if i were you, i would avoid smoking until your done all the drug testing business, if you can.
remember- they catch you and you have to start all that shit all over again, and that just prolongs the time in which you cant smoke.

you see like a strong willed guy though- see how long you can go without giving in, i dare you. make it a personal test. the longer you wait the better it is when you do get it.

hope that helped...

Well do what you want really, but if I had a say so then I would say... don't smoke. Try something else that relaxes you. Take a long walk. Listen to your favorite music. Take a hot bath. I don't know. I was just saying.

suck it up and stop doing drugs? get yourself busy. get a part time job - join a team sport. something to get your mind off of it. it definitely helps

that pretty much sums up my entire highschool years haha the town was like that. dont worry about it - you'll find someone cool to hang out with. yeah it helps but you dont have to smoke to get through everything.

the best advice is to just go with the flow you know?

if things turn to shit, no one has your back better than your friends.

or you can read, or watch a movie, or blare your favorite song, or hell, eat a pint of ben and jerrys. use ben and jerrys as your new drug of choice. just dont forget to do a couple of sit ups....

that sound a bit like my school

just get past all of the testing business, then it will be easier to smoke and not get caught and have to start the process over.

i dunno.
seems like you're in a predicament.
i would suggest getting into something other than drugs/alcohol to give you the same high, just until you get settled. (personally, i would suggest not doing drugs again, but from your posts it seems like that is an option you arent willing to pursue.)
try yoga. even though you may think that its 'cheesy and lame', its really not. meditation has helped me a lot through some hard times. and i dont mean that whole cross your legs and breath with 'ohm' shit. just deep breathing. try it. let all your thoughts sink out with each deep breath you take. just let your body relax.

it's gotten me through some nasty cravings i've had, i would really suggest it.

i find this hard to believe. small factions of rich white kids spend more money on drugs than entire low income/high mobility neighborhoods.

If you're really worried about moving to the new area, then just keep smoking. Keep failing drug tests until you end up in rehab. I guarantee you that people in rehab don't hate drug users.

Just kick smoking weed dude. Seriously, move on to Oxy/OC/whatever you want to call it, and end up addicted MUCH worse than you will off weed.

It's like being an alcoholic. Have you ever heard the term "functioning alcoholic"? It's bullshit, because if you can still function on a day-to-day basis, YOU ARE NOT AN ALCOHOLIC. The only addiction to weed is psychological...so either talk yourself out of it, or just realize you are making yourself want to smoke.

I don't even know where I'm going with this...good luck with whatever you want to do though.

Me neither. I'm not addicted to anything though, this is just a matter of me wanting to smoke a bowl every once in awhile but not wanting parents or rehab counselors to know about it, and i just want to know how long it stays in your system. erowid isn't helping with this issue.

Yeah, it's def a shitty situation. Like I said, I hope you find a reasonable way to still be able to smoke and enjoy yourself. Not to sound like TOO much of a stoner, but you should try to find a way to smoke and detox yourself for the 20th...

I found out a week ahead of time that i had to take a drug test for work. I had just smoked the day before I found out. I smoke mostly on weekends but the occasional weekdays, about an eighth a week. I also work out about 4 days a week, and drink lots of water. So back to the test, I didnt do anything special besides the normal workout and drank a lil more water than usual and I passed my drug test in a week. Ive had friends that passed in 4 and 5 days before, so I wasnt too worried. The more fat cells you have the longer it stays in your system. Excersise and drink water and you should be fine. Just my 2 cents...

Honestly, just give up week until your test. It'll suck, but it's kind of pathetic if you can't do it.

And don't move on to other drugs, because that will just leave you dead from an overdose somewhere. Wait a bit, move, ignore all the rich bitchy white kids, and you'll be fine.
