it has nothing to do with the stream, I hate the guitar tones... they have absolutely no bite to them and sound really flat.... the drums just sound terrible... the vocals are okay but they sound like they are too high in the mix, and would benefit from a bit of reverb.

This is truly unfortunate as I am a huge Fall Of Troy fan. I REALLY do not want to be disappointed but this is way way too calm and ordinary for FOT. I was constantly finding new nuances in their past two CDs but I fear I won't be spending as much time with Manipulator. This sounds like pure normal "screamo" and is almost devoid of interesting instrumentation. I hope these two songs are the only lemmons of the bunch....

Cut Down All The Trees really grew on me to the point where I would have to hear it every now and then because it was stuck in my head. To say this doesn't have the interesting instrumentation shows you really didn't listen to it, or wrote it off after the first couple seconds and then wrote your post.

it's good Fall of Troy stuff as usual, just they turned the vocals up and they have structure to them.. That's why I loved Fall of Troy their songs were unpredictable.... But unlike any other band out there, a step in a new direction actually still sounds sweet. Go FOT!

this song is fucking garbage compared to when i saw them play a man a plan a canal panama and excreations live, cut down the trees was dissapointing when i first heard it but the break down saved it, this song has nothing that sticks out about it fromt he other cds except for the fucking singing in the begining and the quality isnt as good as doppellganger i dunno if its because its streaming or what but im going to need to hear more songs before i even consider buying this cd, i really hope the rest of the cd is harder
