My friend has a tattoo of a Grim Reaper standing behind a gravestone, with the words 'Death B4 Dishonor' on the gravestone. It's the stupidest fucking saying ever, and we all gave him shit about how terrible of a tattoo it is and how that saying was beyond retarded.

Despite my hatred for your band name and how overly cheesy it is, I'll check out your band tomorrow.

Saw these guys with New Lows, Rise And Fall, Blacklisted, and Iron Age the other night in Cambridge. Ridiculous show. Everything about it.

yeah, i think that whole schtick is a little over the top.
i don't mind the music, but it kind of bothers me how ridiculously self-righteous and self important most hardcore bands seem to be. they all seem to think that they're somehow changing the world and put way too much value behind the pretty vague and overly idealistic mentality that all the youth crew hardcore kids seem to have.
especially since most of them are middle class white kids that will grow out of this phase by the time they're in their twenties and will end up working as the kind of corporate drone that they are so vehemently opposed to.
but death before dishonor is pretty sick live.

EDIT: Actually that B9 ep from a few years ago had one song I thought was pretty cool. Just not my style of hardcore in general.

I am 22 and I am at that age where I know for a fact I will never be a suit, but yeah, most of these dudes will fall back on the society and economy they are "fighting against".

Youth Crew was good...in 1987...

Every movement is valid for a certain amount of time in a certain context.

People getting all up in your face about "xRIGHTEOUS PATHx" is a joke. One of my good mates did not even know I was not drinking until last night. That's how little my decision affected him and shows how it can be a small, personal decision that you do not have to force on everybody else.

seriously that's bad ass...kid lives in mass and probably doesn't even listen to have heart, shipwreck, guns up! (rip), hope conspiracy and all the other bands from there that rule. i mean does a hardcore band have to be on victory or trustkill for kids actually take notice on here?
