when you listen to your ipod, you listen to an albub or a playlist more? :-)
I listen to my ipod mainly when i'm 'on-the-go'... and I have 'mood playlist' I often listen too...
and... when tired of tidyness: shuffle ;-)
you guys?

at home and in the car, i listen to the cds i buy (or steal) because if i don't, they will collect dust, and i still enjoy listening to a cd.
in the gym, at work, school or when i go to bed, i use my ipod.

mostly CD's and records. I just queue them up on my playlist to scrobble them into my last.fm.
I listen to my iPod walking around campus, in the car, etc etc.

I listen to CDs everywhere. I'm not going to throw down money for an iPod when I'm never going to use it.

I will never listen to albums on my iPod until Apple figures out a way to eliminate that pause in between songs.

mine has gapless playback for songs that fade into the next and such... it just doesn't work if you download it from some rip. If you rip the CD yourself or get a good rip it will do that. at least with the latest 'pods.

you can get your ipod to do that... itunes will analyze all your library, and most of the song will play with no gap :-)

My iPod is old and doesn't do that. I bought it one generation too early.

CDs via iTunes encoded in Apple Lossless so it's as close to the CD-listening process without the hassle of dealing with changing cds and the potential or scratching them.

I almost always listen to cd's, but occasionaly, if I'm not sure what to listen to, I will put my i-pod on shuffle. And if I'm in a particular mood, sometimes I will listen to a playlist.
Yes. And?

I love cds. they are way better than having a file on your computer.
I love my I-pod. My car has a I-Pod input, so I only listen to the I-pod in my car. I love the on-the-go playlist function. I enjoy creating playlists and I occasionally use the shuffle function too. I also use it some at home, because I have an I-pod alarm clock and tv hook-up. I still buy CD's. I am starting to get into buying stuff off of iTunes, but I like having the whole CD package.
