so ive recently got back into wii sports and i've noticed (especially during baseball) if i start doing very well in a game, either my team's AI will severely plummet (drop EVERY single catch, won't dive for balls in the outfield thus converting a single into a triple, infielders won't jump for catches and instead watch as the ball soars over their head converting an out into a double or triple) or the opposing team's skills will skyrocket (catch every single fly ball, even if the ball inches into the stands for a home run, convert every pitch into a home run even if i throw an intentional foul, not drop a single ball throughout the game, and jump to ridiculous heights to catch a ball in the infield.)
this leads me to assume that Wii Sports does indeed use the infamous rubberband AI. for example, last night i was playing with my friends and they saw me score 14 runs in the first inning, and then watched in horror as the super-charged rival team trumped me by converting any and all pitches into instant home runs, and then surpassed my 14 runs before the end of the inning. i mean, i know it's a video game, but it sucks when you want to sit down and enjoy a game of Wii Sports and all you get out of it is frustration.
anyone else encountered anything like this?
