I was having a good day, but it turned sour.

So I want to know, what music perks you right up?

For me, it's typically Big Star or the Byrds. Right now though, it's the Pixies.

"You Can Do It" by No Doubt. Pretty much the best pick-me-up song ever.

Also, "Rico" by Matthew Good Band, "Everyone's A Junkie" by Our Lady Peace, "Quiet Little Voices" by We Were Promised Jetpacks, and "The End Complete II: Radio Bye Bye" by Coheed and Cambria are good pick-me-up songs.

As for albums that perk me up, Living in America and Dying to Say This to You by The Sounds. 'Cause, y'know, new wave is awesome.
