Know The Score – All Guts No Glory
Label: Goodbye Blue Skies
Release Date: September 27, 2005
Who:
Debut from Miami hardcore outfit that somehow managed to score a deal with Eulogy after putting out this band practice quality recording AND it's sold out on Interpunk/selling used for above retail on Amazon. Proving kids today have no taste. Do we miss the 80s scene that much?
How is it?:
Blink and you’ll miss it, All Guts, No Glory crams 11 tracks into 10 minutes. Good luck trying to separate any of those eleven from one another, Know The Score play the kind of raw, traditional hardcore music you’ll find any given Friday night at your local VFW hall (apparently not in Miami though). It can all be summarized with the motto of every band I’ve ever been in, “If we play fast and angry, we don’t have to be good”. On the plus side, I do fancy the band's basketball-themed logo.
C’mon Jays: “Red Sox Nation My Ass”
H-O-A-R-S-E: Dancefloor Justice, With or Without You, Slapshot
