Story of the Year actually has a lot of songs that sound different than The Used....However, in SOTY's song "And The Hero Will Drown" the beginning drums sound JUST LIKE THE USED!!! That's why I don't like that song, but they kick arse and so does the rest of the music.

The beginning of "In This Diary" by The Ataris sounds just like the beginning of "In The MIddle" by Jimmy Eat World. Those had to be the same exact riffs/chords.

for the guy way above, the Anthem by GC sounds like Mest's Cadillac because John Feldmann co-wrote both of those songs. John Feldmann also got Story of the Big Blue Monkey Year to pretty much change their whole style to cash in on the Used, that's why they sound similar.
