this is by far the most overdone topic. ill say what i always say.
operation ivy
millencolin
He did this, which is pretty famous
I think it's called "infinite hands drawing"
And if anyone wants to know a little history about Guernica...
It was a little town in Spain that the Nazis bombed the shit out of during the Spanish civil war. They bombed it for no other reason than to test out their new ordanance and literally smashed the town to pieces, killing over half of the population. Picasso (who was Spanish) usually kept politics out of his art, but created Guernica (which is a huge tapestry I believe) for the 1939 (?) World's Fair.

i didnt realize he was the one who printed all those symmetry images. in 5th grade my teacher use to have a whole bunch of those up and i use to try to draw them to fit perfectly like his did.
His attention to detail and his precision is insane.
It's about as far from abstract art as you can get (not that I don't like abstract art)
This one hurts my head

that pic was in my psyc. book this past year.
Yeah, Escher is pimped out extensively in all of my textbooks
And "Farside" comics are used in all of my psych books as well. Apparently Gary Larson got a BA in psych.
