Thats right, Camdelphia.

Ok so it was my first waroed tour so we got kinda lost and didnt make it in till like almost 2. So i missed Rancid and Dropkick Murphys. Oh well, DKM are playing in Lancaster in 2 weeks so blah.

We fiddled around alittle bit and finally i went and stood near a stage. Luckily it was a good stage.

Me First and The Gimme Gimmes- I got there just in time to see Joey Cape and Dave Setting up. Then Spike came out and talked to Joey. And Warren from the Vandals was filling in for Chris who i guess is touring with the Foo Fighters. But *gasp* where is my man, my hero, my slightly overweight idol, Mr. Fat Mike? Oh there he is. So they all come out, talk about stuff and how they Are old and The Gayest band on warped. The like to call themselves "the gay uncles of punk rock" And they played songs new and old such as Rocketman, I Believe I can Fly, Leaving on a Jet Plane, Somewhere over the rainbow, etc...And I SWEAR TO FUCKING GOD I SHIT YOU NOT, JOEY CAPE WINKED AT ME. *Swoon*. Fat Mike also made a joke about The Used going something like "for some reason 14 year old girls dont like the gimme gimmes because were old...they prefer the other bands....RIGHT BERT" it was funny. And they said how their new album sucks compard to their older ones so dont buy it. Haha, that was my second favorite set probably.

Pennywise- This was my favorite set. All of you stupid fucks out there who think that PW sucks now can go to hell. They are one of the best, they are still going strong. The energy that they have on stage is unbelievable. They played songs like Bro Hymn, Perfect People, Pennywise, and some new ones like Fuck Authority, and God Save The USA from the new album. I pretty much ruined my voice during PW.

Face To Face- A Very Very good band. Also very underrated. They have alot of energy too and they are so fun. They played a Motley Crue song which was cool.

Mad Caddies- Umm they sounded really bad, but I think they were drunk. But they were hella fun. They played all sorts of songs, new and old. They were the last band I saw.

I also saw some of The Used. and we made a stop over to Simple Plan while Face to face was setting up because we had some bottles that we needed to dispose. And by dispose i mean throw at Simple Plan. We almost hit them. I think I hit a croud surfer though. I also saw One Man Army, they are good but they sounded like shit compared to when i saw them in November. And i heard some of The Ataris, and some TSL and STUN i think but i dont care about them. I also saw about half of Thrice, they were good.

We saw Bowling for Soup walking around but i dont care about them either.

Thank you.

-Seth.

I'd also like to review my experience at the Camdelphia warped tour.

This was my 4th warped tour and i really think they have gotten worse as the years go on.

first of all yellowcard played at 11:45 before anyone even got there, i didnt think the place opened till noon. i had never seen them before and i guess i missed my chance this time around. the ataris and the starting line both played awesome as always so that was a plus. kris and kenny are just awesome. i got a chance to sit down and watch slick shoes (who cancelled the last 2 shows i tried to go to). they played inside where the seats were so there wasnt much room to stand but not many people showed up for the slick shoes set. later when brand new played at the same stage with the seats the place was packed. it was pathetic the way everyone acted over their cheesy set. vaux also played inside but i cant understand a damn word they said. i cant stand the screaming. i caught some of the used's set which sounded pretty good. its always nice to hear the good ol suicide machines and pennywise while your walking around too. less than jake also played well, i caught their whole set. they were the last band i watched right after my buddies losing ground. i really didnt care for a majority of the bands i didnt name, i didnt feel like i missed out on anything. the line up is getting worse each year.

also the people are getting less and less mature. maybe its because half the people were like 12 and with their parents crowding around the all american rejects tent. the other half of the people just throw bottles and crap into the crowd and on stage. its ridiculous the way people act in public. we are all sweaty and uncomfortable as it is, getting hit in the head isnt helping the situation. and the prices keep rising. im having less fun each year and spending more money at the same time. they are sucking us dry over powerade and pretzels. there is like no free stuff anymore either. almost no one even gives out stickers or cds. i use to come home with a handful of goodies to remember the day, now theirs a price tag on everything. they also slacked on the entertainment. all i saw was a vert ramp. i remember a few years back having a street competition with rails and ramps set up, bikers hopping onto and over blocks while balancing on one wheel, and people shooting out of canons. this year all i remember is spending like $100 to sweat off 5 pounds. im disappointed.

what does everyone else think...
