You may be forced to go, but that your parents forcing you to go so you can be educated and shit. But the other part is bullshit. No one forces you to learn! They may say pay attention and shit but yo are not forced to learn, honestly its impossible to force people to learn because its impossible to control someones mental thoughts. this isn't a bad piece of writing, and I'm usually pretty understanding, and impressed by buriedalive's writing, but some of the things just get to me, even though on a personal level, i'm not a person who practices religion often, i understand that "GOD" is an understanding of a higher force. xAlexisisonfirex got it right when he said nobody knows the truth...but this writing is something you write in a notebook, and don't show people unless you expect it to get hammered for the intense imagery you portray that is nothing more than an underdeveloped opinion....I am sometimes confused by your logic, buriedalive, because wewin is just trying to help you understand how some writing can not be considered the best, and as soon as he posts, you have to snap back. I agree with the people who say that this seems to be a bitter irrelevant opinion. I hate songs that specifically, and without a shadow of doubt, talk about religion. haha, worldstheory, dont' worry about rufio217, he bitched about what i said too...i consider poetry, and writing a great way to put your feelings across, but as you said, don't be so blunt about something, like saying their is no god, their is no afterlife. of course, because of rufio's posting name, i'm sure he like's his writing, straight and too to the point, without one ounce of thought to go into it. I have never read one rufio lyric that I haven't been able to get a meaning to in less than a half a minute. if that suits you fine, i'm just saying that putting "there is no god, there is no afterlife", that is just bad writing, it doesn't match the rest of his writing. I have nothing against rufio, you as a person, just that you are sticking up for something that you can't win. this song is choppy, and just opinionated mush, at best.

ok i have been gone, and i have read all the post. and i agree with rufio and worldstheory because they are both right. every song written about "god" is opinionated bullshit yet they dont get the same bullshit i do. i posted an unpopular opinion because i believe in it. i dont care if you believe in it. i think you should just take the writing for its face value as worldstheory did. i thank all of you for your comments, and for the time you seem to have put into trying to get your opinion across.

but if i ever have another unpopular opinion i will make sure to post it, because you guys seem to like to argue over it.

i had different points in the whole song. that one was just to tell you guys i do not believe in "god" and i think all that stuff is bullshit. but i really was getting the point that ya "god" isnt real and neither is the afterlife in the whole song and i did. but that one line was for the dumbasses who didnt get it.

well if the existance of god is based on the existance of faith, technically by believing in god you make god exist.
whether or not god exists in the physical sense is questionable (at best) though by believing in god, it gives god power over you which would not exist had you have chosen the (logical) alternative path and not believed in god, which means since god would have power, he would exist in a mental state.

this also means that by me saying "i'm god" and having at least one follower, i am correct in my claim. so, i am god.

There's a thing called "absolute truth", that means something is true even if no one believes in it. Personally, I believe that God is real, so for the sake of this argument, I'm going to call God "real".

So here we go: God is real. We also know that you are real and that I am real. Even if I don't believe that you are real, there is no denying that you are in fact real. Even if you don't believe that I am real, guess what? I am real.

I believe that God is just as real as you or me, so no amount of believing or disbelieving is going to change that.

Now let's twist this around. For the sake of this point of my argument, we're going to say that God is NOT real. Now, let's think of something else that we can agree is not real, such as... Superman. Even if I want Superman to be real with all my might, he is not going to be real. If God is not real, no amount of "believing" will change that.

The Bible doesn't teach God to be a "state-of-mind", it teaches him to as an intelligent entity that was here before we even existed. So it doesn't matter whether or not we believe in him. He is either not real or (according to my beliefs) real.

god, is only a state of mind that churches have tried to imprint in your brain there is nothing that makes this real. they just use the excuse of god to help them say they know the unknown because humans cant settle for not knowing
