I'm really looking forward to this album. Sum 41 is one of those bands that is a hell of a lot better than it seems like they should be. Chuck was a great album too, so it should be interesting to see where they go from there.

I'm happy that they are going back to the old stuff. It sounds better than a lotta new stuff and it's not as...How do I put it? Sad.

I heard 3 songs off of the new album, and I have mixed feelings. I thought that Chuck was a major step for them - a definite maturation and improvement. Definitely their best album. The songs I heard off of MotD sounded like they were recorded in between All Killer and Infected, which is not necessarily a good thing to me. They definitely still have a little bit of the more mature feel that Chuck did, but it just sounded like a step backwards to me.

One step forward, yet about six years back.

Im kinda glad everything that happened in this band did.
I couldn't imagine them making another CD in the direction of Chuck that could even compare to it.
Though I like that style more, it's good they went back.

i recognize some guitar parts from the NFG song "The Great Houdini"
and im not digging the lyrics.
but thats just me, i dont like political lyrics.
its pretty good.
could be alot better.
is this the single?

No this is not the single, and They even said in a myspace post that this is one of the only political type songs on the album, but the album will NOT be political itself.
that being said, I love the song.....I good return to form and sounds that's been missing in pop-punk for a while.

Sum 41 is my all time favorite band, and i want to like this song but i can't. the part where he sounds like he is in the speaker phone was kinda lame and if you listen to the guitar it doesn't change much like most of there other songs were though the whole song it not the same guitar riff. i know alot of you is going to think i don't know what im talking about and like i said i want to like this song but it hard they sound to much like green day and i don't like them but this is just one song and i really hoping the other songs wont sound like this

All Killer No Filler was such a great album. I'd be interested to hear their new stuff, because I don't have anything recent by them.

To me, it sounds like a bad mix of Andrew W.K. (the intro), new Green Day (do we need a rant about fucking politics?), blink-182 (Stev-O's drumming at some parts), and new My Chemical Romance (that parade-ish outro before the craptastic waste that is the screaming parts at the end).
It's obvious to me that Brownsound held this band together in terms of directiona and musicial style, and that 'solo' is amazingly bad.
