The first album I bought with my own money wasn't even a legit album. It was one of Christina Aguilara's singles or something that had the spanish version with it too. LOL. I think I bought it because it was the cheapest... like $4.00 or something.

But as far as the rock genre... gosh, I didn't listen to rock until MUCH MUCH later in my life. I'm ashamed to say it's probably Linkin Park's Meteora. Wow. That's embarassing.
