yeah it'd be nice, but they wouldn't make nearly as much if they showed it on HBO, this was being billed as possibly the biggest PPV fight of all time, but with the current state of boxing they need something to bring in more fans/regular viewers

maywether took over the fight in the 8th round or so. he landed a better % of his power punches, and seemed to pounce on de la hoya's mistakes late in the fight. i'm actually surprised it was a split decision, because from the way it played out oscar had a few surges that kept him in the thing but that was about it.

umm, that's every interview. he's a piece of shit.
with that said, i can finally realize that half of 24/7 was an act. Mayweather was conditioned to be a great promoter and he sold the fight better than anyone i have ever seen. the fact that so many people hated him generated enough ppv sales to make everyone involved rich as fuck.

I found it interesting, during the post right interviews Mayweather said they both have bruises but look at De La Hoya's face and you will see who won.

Mayweather had some swelling at least, then they showed De La Hoya...no swelling, no bruises, not that I saw anyway.

and the guy he's fighting is not just a wrestler.

he is a 2 time state champion in wrestling, a black belt in ju-jitzu, a world class kick boxer and also fought in the golden gloves turnament...he's a very well rounded athlete.

I dont know, I guess since Sherk would be fighting at no cost...and it would be the Main Event at a PPV...they just figured they would make that money back pretty easily i guess...because I am sure all the MMA and Boxing fans would order it...just to see what happens..

and what the fight would look like...I am guessing Sherk would throw a leg kick or two ...take Mayweather down and do a little bit off ground and pound....and then either Choke him out..or KO him down there.


and if it would be a boxing match...I am sure Sherk would throw some haymakers...and Mayweather would step in and outbox the piss out of Sherk...and get a Unanimous win over Sherk..or possible corner stoppage...but I dont think Floyd has the KO power to put Sherk lights out...but he could definately out skill him in the boxing ring.

yeah. If one burst while wearing the boxing gloves...he'd destroy his hand landing a shot in MMA...
