Manchester Orchestra was amazing.
Kevin Devine wasn't bad.
All three bands playing together through both of those sets was mindblowing.
Brand New... amazing, but a huge letdown. The shortest setlist of the tour (that I've seen), and the crowd was terrible. Everyone knew every word, that wasn't the problem, nor was it talking, just everyone tried to mosh to every song but Limousine and Handcuffs... It also ticked me off that the crowd chanted for about 8 minutes for an encore and they didn't even come out and play one song.
Demo "Untitled 1" (edited since correct name was given)
Sowing Season (Yeah)
Millstone
I Will Play My Game Beneath The Spin Light
The Shower Scene
The No Seatbelt Song
The Boy Who Blocked His Own Shot
Jaws Theme Swimming
Luca
Okay I Believe You But My Tommy Gun Don’t
The Archers Bows Have Broken
Handcuffs- Five Minute Pause –
Limousine
Jesus
Degausser
You Won’t Know
Welcome To BangkokStill amazing. But, the 24 setlist was just so much better (on paper)... See them if you still got a chance, too. Definitely still a great show.

Yes, it was the first demo that he played at the beginning which was pretty cool. I agree with everything said above, though. The show was good, but the crowd was horrendous, and almost ruined it for me. No encore after the way the crowd reacted made me leave with a bad taste in my mouth, too. I would have been happier with the longer setlist, but I thought Limousine was amazing. All in all it was still a good show, though, just those few annoyances.

It makes me so mad that some dates get such shorter sets. They played about 17 on my date too. I don't understand why they do that. I've never really heard of a band playing 22-24 songs on some dates and 17 on others.
Don't get me wrong, I'm very grateful that they even came to my city, but I just think they should keep it consistent.

Last time they came through with Crime in Stereo I was so disappointed in them that I didn't go to this tour... but I would have been pissed to not get the 22ish songs like they were doing before.

Agreed on all accounts. Where were you in general to the stage? I was on the second row-ish of humans by the two drunk guys that got pulled out and snuck back in to be thrown out again... the the left of the pole if facing the stage. I swear every annoying person was in that area.

Yes, it was. It was beautiful, but left much to be desired. And, I understand about the encores, but the way the crowd was chanting (and the fact they still play Sic Transit here on the radio practically daily) even if I was exhausted, I would've come out for one more song.

you guys got 17 songs because there was like 4 dates for florida, they figured half the people there saw them once earlier in the week

yeah i don't think it matters how many dates they've played before in the area...last night was their first show in atlanta, and we got equally shafted with the short set list.
it just sucks, because i think all of us were completely stoked when they were playing ALL of deja, some yfw, and some of the new songs...i know i definitely was. knowing that they were playing that earlier in the tour, and then hearing them just play through 15-17 songs is very much a letdown to me. i'm glad to get the chance to see them, but i wish i saw them when the tour started.
it just seems like they're really not feeling it anymore, and that they're just trying to get through every night until they're off the road again.

i was right next to the pole... a little behind you, but in the same general area i'd say from your description... i saw those guys come back in, but i didn't realize they got kicked out a second time... that's classic

well i think were just gonna have to wait to see what they do after atlanta. I imagine the Northeast is going to get the big setlist especially New York.
Plus one night in FL they said they had to go because of time
