After watching a bunch of his interviews and reading commentary, I have so much more respect for him than I did a year or two ago. I think I enjoy his music more too.

I totally agree. He's a very smart man and an amazing entertainer, an enigma though he may be.

Well I liked his stuff ten years ago, but then after I lashed out and decided I hated him and just had basically ignored him until about two years ago when I started listening to him a little more. I've always known he's a really smart guy, I just didn't really care enough to think about it until a couple years ago. Call it maturity or becoming old, but it makes a difference.

I like Manson. I'm not a regular listener or anything, but he's definitely not as terrible as a lot of other stuff that's out. And yeah, he's a genius.

all of those rumors are bs. if you are really interested in him, read his book Long Hard Road out of Hell. And I am pretty damn pumped for this new CD... I hope it is more towards the Antichrist Superstar style.

Haha i remember that one. I always knew he was intelligent but he just abit too odd for me, well seeing as I found out about him in like 5th grade then didn't really hear anything of him. I might give it a listen.

marilyn manson is a genius, glad other people agree with me. can't wait for his movie, but this new music doesn't impress me. there's another new song i heard too, and both that and this are boring as all hell.

Yeah, I can't get into the songs either, but I'm usually interested in what he has to say.

I saw him live, twice, maybe 8 or 9 years ago. He did rip up the Bible, and self-injure.

However, people usually protested him claiming that he made live animal sacrifices and had sexual intercourse with children onstage, which definitely did not take place. Pretty heinous rumors.

He himself is actually a great, smart, cool guy, the members of his band are the sick fucks and idiots that I dislike, that is, if you ever read his book or some interviews where he talks about how his band mates would have sex with deaf chicks while putting pig meat on them and ridiculous sick shit.

there was the one about having his ribs removed so he could suck himself, there was the one about him having surgery to have a vagina and breasts(and having his weiner removed, which in itself, disproves the first rumor), the one about him being Paul from Wonder Years, the one about him being tied to a cross as a kid in church and being beaten nearly to death...that's all i can remember.
