The time has come and gone, I have returned, and now I shall give you a full recap, which I realize is long as hell, but READ IT ANYWAYS!

The first set of the day was Count The Stars on the Maurice/Volcom stage or Slick Shoes on the Brian stage at 12:00. I'm not a Slick Shoes fan at all, so i went to see CTS. I haven't heard much of them before, but they weren't that bad.

At 12:30, I watched S.T.U.N. on the Teal Stage. I had heard good things about them but had never listened to them before. I was thoroughly impressed.

At 1:00, I had a tough choice to make: Yellowcard,on Maurice/Volcom, or The Starting Line, on Brian.(note the sarcasm.) My friends kinda wanted to see Yellowcard, so I went and watched their set. They were really energetic, i'll give them that. I enjoyed watching the singer/violinist doing backflips off the short stack of amps.

At 1:30, I got in line for Thrice autographs, while listening to whoever was playing the Volcom stage. They were alright.

At 2:00, Thrice got into the A.P. tent, which was luckily near the M/V stage that Brand New was playing at 2. I listened to Brand New, got Teppei and Dustin's autographs, got an "I like your shirt" from Dustin(it was a Thrice shirt, he damn well better have liked it), and then sat down to watch the rest of Brand New's disappointing electric/acoustic set.

At 2:30, no one would watch Face To Face with me, so I decided it was definitely time to hit the pit. FTF kicked major ass.

3:00 brought around Glassjaw. I met up with my friends(who came back with Dropkick Murphys autographs for me, which I am eternally grateful for), and then decided to go pick up a shirt and some food. I bought a Brand New shirt, despite their set, and then sat in a food line for 45 minutes while moving NOWHERE, and missing Less Than Jake's 3:30 set in the process.

4:00 - Rancid was up, and my friends were nowhere to be found. So back in the pit I went. Rancid's set was pretty damn good.

4:30 was the Gimme Gimmes. I watched their set from a distance while looking for my friends, to no avail.

5:00, I hit the pit again, joining joyfully in the "Let's Go Murphys!" chant, and singing along like a little girl..the DKM played an average set, I'd rather they don't even play their old songs anymore because the new singer just fucking butchers them.

I finally found my friends RIGHT before the Suicide Machines went on at 5:30. They left again, and I went back in the pit. the Machines put on an awesome show, the singer was really feeling us. He was crowd surfing and letting us sing, and set us up to Braveheart each other, and then Wall of Death "the little pussies just standing on the edge of the pit".

6:00, I sat down to watch Tsunami Bomb, who played an average set.

6:30, i went and laid down on the grass for 15 minutes while listening to Poison The Well, then stood in front of Pennywise's stage in great anticipation.

7:00, Pennywise came on and fucking rocked the place down. All the kids in the pit went nuts. They played a good mix of old and new songs, but thankfully played "Fuck Authority". To close it out, the played "Bro Hymn", to which we emulated the drunken "whoaaaaa" part very well. They brought about 20 people from backstage up to sing along, and everyone was fucking exhausted after that pit.

7:30 was The Used. I finally went and got some food, over 24 hours after my fat ass last ate. I came back just in time to hear Bert go "This song is called "The Taste of Ink" ", and then 6 little teenie girls behind me go "AHHHHHHH!!!!", to which I had to turn around and go "OHH MYYYY GAWWWWDDD!!!! THEY SAY THE "F" WORD IN THIS SONG!! AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!" I don't think they liked me much. But I still got a good laugh when they sang along to the whole first verse and then went "IT'S 4 O'CLOCK IN THE (complete silence) MORNING!!!!!!!!!"

At 8:00, The Ataris were on. I kept laying right where I was until about 8:15.

At 8:30, the closer of the night, Thrice came on. I went fucking nuts. Their set was pretty good. It could have been better, but not much. They fucking rocked the house down. Everyone was singing along and jumping and just completely wasting every last bit of energy they had.

So all in all, despite the disgutingly high food and drink prices, little teenie girls, and elbow throwing dicks in the Pennywise pit, Warped 2003 fucking rocked. and now I'm done.

i was there also.......only thing i really hated was how they split up the big huge stage and made it 2 little stages.

up in the front of the used pit all the little girls were crying cause they couldnt breath. it was pretty bad up there but i saw no reason to be crying about it.....the speakerdive bert did was pretty cool. i should have awesome pics from it.

i was dissapointed that there was hardly any people that went to see vendetta red (and at how the fucking 11 year olds in front of me kept giving me dirty looks because there was a mini circle pit going on behind me and i was bumping them) but all in all it was a good warped.
