Prom

Alright, my friend asked me to go to her prom close to a month ago. Her prom is on May 13th and i go to San Francisco on vacationMmay 18th-28th. Im just now realizing i dont have the money to go to her prom and have enough money to have fun in SF.

I feel like an ass because its really close to prom day and if i ditch out, im not sure if she will find another date in time.

Does anybody have any advice on how to break it to her? Girls preferably, how would you feel if a guy did this to you? And what would be your most prefered way of him doing it?

it depends on what kind of person she is and how she takes things. i would understand but it would still suck. what if you just like..left a night early so you could have a little more money or something?

well u better tell her soon so she has the time to get another date...and if this happened to me then i would probably be pretty angry at u but if u were really my friend then i would understand....and she would probably prefer it if u just went and told her your situation asap
