So the 'worst movie' thread inspired me. I don't even want to know how much money those fuckers got for writing the screen plays and coming up with ideas for shit like The Hot Chick and The New Guy.... I am convinced I could put 2% of my intellect and 1% of my possible effort into a script and come out with something 100% better than the shit that hollywood movies have become.

So I am now accepting possible ideas. I have a few of my own, but fuck it someone toss a good one at me and I'll roll from there, maybe with their own help.

people dont write original screenplays anymore it is either adapted from a best seller or stolen from something the masses of drones wont pick up because its not on the new york best sellers list.

so yes you can write your own screenplay but you will only make modest gains off of your first flick, and every other movie to follow will suck ass unless your name is david fincher, almadovare, or christopher nolan.


yous also have to remember that more often than not people are stupid and greedy fucks sell shit to them. thats why i appreciate robert redford for making the sundance channel.

i have absolutely no idea how to write a screen play, no experience in film, or any idea who the hell those people are (christopher nolan sounds familiar) but I am extremely stubborn and headstrong and if I want something bad enough I'll get it

the perfect idea has struck me. okay, here's the story:


a sarcastic young asshole of an intellectual (whom i adore, need i say) whose intelligence is suffocating beneath internet forums and ridiculously long work hours, is sitting in front of a computer one night. suddenly, a nice (if somewhat.....provocative) french girl strolls up and catches mr. ispeakonlyenglish's eye. after a series of comical attempts on the boy's part to learn french, he gives up and at the close of the movie ends up just ditching all forms of verbal communication and suggests intercourse to the french girl by means of a few sexual gestures and pelvic thrusts. the french girl isn't too bright and turns out to be attracted to the boy(!surprise!) and the credits scroll up as neph..excuse me, the boy.....and the french girl proceed to have hot, uninhibited sex on a computer desk.
