i'm goign to miss them so much. i remember last year when i saw them in buffalo, Serg came out so drunk with about an 8th of a bottle of JD left in his hand and in his briefs. by the end of the set, i forget how, he had ripped them and was pretty much butt-ass naked. such a great live show and so many great songs they'll truly be missed. i'm contemplating clearing my bank account to go to bamboozle to see them.

Whatever happened to Ace putting out an album every month this year from the perspective of a different genre each time?

awww that video <3

everytime I see the TEN icon in the news thing on the main page, I fear that they're cancelling Bamboozle. over the past few months, everytime I saw the TEN icon it was bad news for me- cancelled shows, breaking up, etc.

DTR should make a RIP video for themselves.

Buuuuuurn

No really the only thing dtr has going for them is hellogoodbye

And even THEY suck. All their bands that made them who they are is either broken up or on another label.

*crying stars*
04/21/07, 01:40 PM
Wow, that was a bit sad. =/

LillieDesigns
04/21/07, 01:41 PM
TEN was Drive-Thru ever since TSL, SF, and everyone else left or broke up. Hellogoodbye isn't serious enough to be the carrying band for a label in my opinion.

One of the most unique bands in that genre... so sad to see them go.

I can see why DTR made a video and - in general - why they love TEN so much because the band grew up on the label; however, why not make a RIP video for other DTR bands who have gone? No offense to anyone here who will really misses TEN, but I miss Allister and The Movielife more.

damn this upsets me. for some reason, I've been a fan of theirs for at least 5 years, when they first got signed to Drive-Thru and I've never seen them. I'm going to miss them, they're a great band with heart.

funtasticrich
04/22/07, 04:43 AM
i really love this band. they should have come to England for a couple of headlining shows. They were awesome when I saw them support The Starting Line with Anberlin, but when I saw them support NFG in November, they cut their set short cause the crowd were dicks and were throwing stuff. If I remember rightly Serg hit a guy at the front cause he was a prick.

funtasticrich
04/22/07, 04:45 AM
Also in their last AP.net interview, didn't they say they were considering doing a B-Side album? And were looking at treatments for a new video (can't remember what song). Shame we will never get these now :(

I'm really gonna miss these guys, along with most people that have replied to the numerous threads regarding TEN. They're really nice, genuine guys, especially Jeff. Jeff is one of the nicest guys I've ever met, I hope things work out with his new band Grace Period.

That video just made me remember the cold falls and winters in Idaho. Those guys were in my daily rotation for four years of college. Sad stuff. We all know Ace will start something new soon though.

i eagerly wait for ace and everyone else in this band to start writing and putting out music in another band. though it will never compare to the great times i have had with the Early November R.I.P. T.E.N.

Another DTR band bites the dust. So long guys, always enjoyed your music. Too bad you were hooked up with such a crap label. As was mentioned earlier too bad there's not a RIP video for DTR. How many bands are going to get screwed over by these assholes before it's all over. Seriously, how many bands have gone down the tube over the last couple of years that were on DTR. All the rumors and melodrama have some basis in fact. I know young bands are looking to get signed but find another outfit to go with cause DTR is a death sentence. Goodbye TEN. Best of luck to you all in the future.
