If we walk up and down these crowded streets
And let the mobs take down our misery
Would we call the cops on this joyous murder scene?
Or let selfish men ignore what they could be
If they know what was different about this day and the next
Why do they never choose to live in the past?
‘Cause in the future each day could be your last
As we hide behind walls made of glass
We all need someone we can save
Whether it be an ugly church boy with the road ahead all paved
Or a beautiful drunkard stuck out in the rain
Who’s tired of losing at life’s old game?
Let’s all go get a taste of gold
And it’ll shine until our hearts get old
And they glory of it is; we’ll never know
How happy you can be when you’re alone
And the amount of money you have to get you through the days
Isn’t enough for the girls you pay?
When we bottle up love; we throw it away
Just to see the look on your face
And if we fall victim to all your flaws
Shouldn’t you be screaming not singing along?
Maybe you don’t know exactly what we want
Well, then we are very, very sorry for leading you on.

I kinda liked it, esp this,
" We all need someone we can save
Whether it be an ugly church boy with the road ahead all paved
Or a beautiful drunkard stuck out in the rain"

Thanks,
I know its kinda weird with the 'we's' and stuff, but it goes along with the theme of my bands new CD, thats why there's no 'i's'.
