Underoath started off alright and have declined steadily throughout the years, and The Almost is an average pop-rock band.

you're right. underoath has changed, but for the better. i do love every single underoath album, but, not to mock them, they were just noise at some parts. it was from the changing of times to they're only chasing safety where they found what music they want to play. then on define the great line, they got a heavier than safety, but was still the kind of music they were trying to play. as for the almost, you're right again. they are your standard pop-punk band, but it's not bad.

Yep, Underoath discovered the wonders of wanting to be a third-rate Botch on Define the Great Line and how to make an album full of rather pathetic songs on They're Only Chasing Safety.

Kayo Dot
Godspeed You Black Emperor

Also, I have a question for you, lunchforthesky, me and my friend were talking about which Godspeed album we think is the best, and I want to know your opinion on the matter since I know you like them a lot.

Exactly. I enjoy the UO songs that have a good amount of his singing (A Boy Brushed Red...), or just very impressive small vocal parts by him (Moving For The Sake Of Motion) more than Spencer-centric songs.

If you actually read the bible you would know that all supposed sins carry equal weight.

From suicide to murder to swearing its all exactly as bad.in the 10 commandment (God's laws), it say's "Thou shalt not murder." If you commmit suicide, you are killing yourself. dont you think that if you break a law it's worse than getting in trouble?

The funniest thing they have done was the track 'Spirit of a Living God' on Act of Depression, where it's nine minutes of religious babble by Spencer with some acoustic guitar playing in the background, then Aaron sings the rest of the song.

A winner is me.

The KKK were/still are very conservative organisations where as economically the Nazi Party were very left wing, favouring planned economics.

I love you and your high IQ.

i like the almost; aaron has always been the best vocalist.

either way, aaron wins because he is a major part of TWO successful bands.

i think its also important to remember that The Almost isnt trying to be anything groundbreaking
it is a side project that Aaron called "straight forward rock" which i think is very accurate
if you're dissapointed, perhaps you are placing unfair expectations on it
