Sibling Rivalries

I am having alot of problems with my sister who is a little less than two years older than me. Anyways so she will be a complete bitch to not only me but my mom too, about absolutley everything, and then turn around and be really nice.. but only when it seems like she wants something;therefore, overtime I have built up all this anger towards her and as a result cannot be sympathetic towards her any longer. So she's off to college at the end of this summer and I feel like if I can't extend myself to forgive her for everything, then I will regret it; yet its hard when she acts completley out of line. Any insight/similar problems? Thanks.

My sister is the same way. She's 3 years older and I don't like her at all. She's apologizes all the time but continually says incredibly mean (for lack of a better word) things to me more than enough times. She's made it quite clear that I'm a failure in her eyes, as well as stupid and selfish. We don't talk anymore, but I don't regret it. I figure if she was a friend and acted the same way I wouldn't keep in touch or care about her- why should I try so hard when the only thing we have in common is a bloodline?

I have a sister like that. She's 6 yrs older than me. Just go on with your life when she goes to college. Then if you feel the need to call her up and talk to her about all your pent up feelings do it.

I have a sister whos a year older then me. Since we're so close in age, we have the same friends and compete with everything. Sometimes I thinnk I won't be able to forgive her for something...but it eventually passes.

i'm so glad my brother and sister are 6 and 7 years older than me.
i used to bug the shit out of them til i was like 12, then we just didn't get along until i was 17, and now we're all pretty close. it's delightful.

i got an older bro and a younger sis....it sux real bad bein the middle child...my brothers older than me by 2 years and my sister is 5 years younger than me...and they both piss me off to hell...my brothers moved and i dont think i will ever forgive him for alot of things...

i get along just fine and dandy with my siblings, but i think that's because i have 2 older brothers. Girls seem to carry around more drama.

yeah thats basically what happens everytime, except recently I just feel like I shouldn't forgive her. Oh well atleast I have a brother I get along with ;)
