I was flipping through some presets on my grandpa's radio, and stopped on NPR, for entertainment I'll listen to this to hear the absurdness of the complaints I hear on the radio, but I learned an interesting factoid. Republicans, on average, will show up to the polls at 7 o'clock a.m., Democrats at 3 p.m....not only does that display initiative on the part of Republicans, it also makes me wonder, how do you get off of work at 3 pm?

Initiative? It doesn't matter what time you vote...
But as for the second point....welfare?
Mildly related story. When I was home for Christmas, I went to the mall with my mom on a Tuesday morning, around 9am, and the place was fucking blocked. So we're in the middle of this giant crowd of people, and I go "for the love of God, it's 9 am on a Tuesday, doesn't anyone have a fucking job?"
Everyone looked at me and my mom started laughing her ass off. Goodtimes

For what its worth... that IS an average. I'm sure some go in the mornings, and the majority go after work.
